Guernsey's largest Clay Target shooting club, hosting a full calendar of events throughout the year.
WELCOME
We are Guernsey's largest Clay Target shooting club and host a full calendar of events throughout the year. We offer a wide range of clay shooting disciplines, suitable for novices through to experienced shooters.
For non-members with experience, we are open on Sunday mornings from 09:00am until 12:30pm and have club guns available if you are visiting Guernsey.
SHOOT FORMAT
Registration
You will register your details with our friendly instructors and be split into teams.
Teams
Each team will be assigned to an instructor, your scores will be tracked, and you can compare the scores of each group.
Safety
Before any shooting takes place, you'll be given a full safety briefing by our experienced instructors.
Competition
Our instructors will provide a safe, fun, and competitive morning of shooting.
Results
Your overall scores will be worked out, and the best team and individual scores announced.
BOOK YOUR GROUP SHOOT
Clay Target shooting is an exhilarating and challenging form of entertainment for any group event between March and September. Our instructors will provide a safe, fun, and competitive morning of shooting.
For over 50 years, our club has provided a unique opportunity to motivate staff, entertain clients, or just to have fun with friends.
WEEKLY FIXTURES
We offer a variety of shooting disciplines on the club's newly renovated range. These change weekly and are available on the GCTSC website.
Our range is located at Portinfer, a headland on the North West coast of Guernsey. We shoot English Skeet, ISU, Sporting, Sport trap, Universal Trap and ABT.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The questions below are commonly asked by prospective club members, if you have any questions not addressed here, feel free to contact us.
How can I become a member?-
To become a member, you will need to contact us to attend an induction course. If you decide that this is a sport you wish to take up, we would welcome you as a member.
What are your opening times?+
We open on Sunday mornings at 08:00 to begin setting up for the day's events. We start shooting at 09:15 and the last round goes out at 12:30.
Do you have any rules and regulations?+
Yes, we do have a set of rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all shooters and spectators. These will be explained to you during your induction course.
Which shooting disciplines are available?+
The range can be set up for any of the following shoots: English Skeet, ISU, Sporting, Sport trap, Universal trap, Olympic Trap, and ABT. Please see the Fixtures section to see what we're shooting on a particular week.
I'm a visitor, can I just turn up?+
Provided you have experience at clay shooting, you are welcome to come along on a Sunday morning. Club guns will be available, but you will be asked to pay non-member rates.
